Pisac

The traditional village of Pisac, located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, is one of the most fascinating places in the region. The village attracts visitors with its ancient Inca terraces, picturesque market, and the authentic atmosphere of local life.

Pisac is a small village in the Peruvian part of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, blending traditional lifestyle with remarkable historical sites. Located about 33 kilometers from Cusco, it is famous for its weekly market, where locals offer handmade crafts, traditional textiles, and souvenirs. The vibrant colors and scents of the market reflect the very essence of Peruvian culture.

Not far from the village lie the impressive Inca terraces, once used for agriculture. These terraces, stretching across the mountain slopes, showcase the advanced Inca knowledge of farming and irrigation while also offering some of the most stunning panoramic views in the region.

Pisac is also a starting point for exploring nearby archaeological sites, many of which preserve traces of Inca culture and provide enriching experiences for history enthusiasts. Combining historical importance with living tradition, Pisac stands as both a tourist destination and a cultural center that captures the spirit of Peru.
