Early in the morning, at 5:00 AM, you will leave Panama City in a 4x4 vehicle bound for the port of Cartí. From there, a boat will take you across turquoise waters to a remote island managed by the Guna community. After breakfast, you will transfer from your hotel in Panama City to the domestic airport for a one-hour flight to Bocas del Toro, a paradise on Panama’s Caribbean coast. Upon arrival, a private excursion awaits: snorkel at the vibrant reefs of Bird Island, guided by an expert in snorkeling and birdwatching, and then relax with a curated picnic at the idyllic Starfish Beach. Flights
International flights to and from Panama are not included in the tour package price. Most travelers arrive via Tocumen International Airport (PTY) in Panama City. Domestic flights within Panama, such as those to Bocas del Toro or David, are only included when specifically mentioned in the itinerary.
Visa Requirements
Citizens of the European Union, the United States, Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom do not require a visa for short tourist stays in Panama (up to 90 days). A valid passport with at least six months’ validity from the date of entryand at least one blank page is required. For longer stays or for nationalities that require a visa, visa fees are not includedin the package price.
Vaccinations & Health
There are no mandatory vaccinations for entry into Panama. However, it is recommended to be up to date on routine immunizations such as tetanus, diphtheria, hepatitis A and B, and typhoid. A yellow fever vaccination certificate may be required if you are arriving from or transiting through a country with risk of yellow fever. Travelers should also take precautions against mosquito-borne illnesses such as dengue, Zika, and chikungunya. Consult your healthcare provider before departure. Tap water is safe to drink in Panama City, but in rural or island areas bottled or filtered water is recommended.
